Homemade Remedies For Acne


Many try tons of different medications and topical acne creams and gels to try and get rid of their acne. But what happened to leaning on the homemade remedies of years passed that have been proven to work and can resolve your battle with acne once and for all? Pharmaceutical companies have taken over and made people believe they NEED medicine to clear their acne. There are other options though, which happened to be less expensive and better for your overall health as well. Keeping it simple and resorting to ingredients we have from nature may be just what you need to get your skin looking clear and beautiful again. We have compiled a list of some of our favorite homemade remedies that will clear your acne up once and for all.
Homemade Remedies
1. Pure Honey and Cinnamon face Mask – Combine 2 Tablespoons of
pure honey with 1 teaspoon of pure cinnamon powder. Apply to your clean face and neck and leave on for 20 minutes and rinse off with warm water. Gently pat dry and apply an oil-free moisturizer to retain moisture. Honey is wonderful for removing impurities from pores that are clogged with acne-causing bacteria and excess of oil. It has antimicrobial antibacterial properties fight and kill acne infections. Cinnamon is antibacterial and antifungal and works safely and gently to get rid of acne-causing bacteria. Use this mask once a week for amazing results.
2. The Inside of a Banana Peel – The inside of a banana peel is wonderful for reducing inflamed skin from pain, redness, and irritation. It also is beneficial as a natural exfoliator for removing dead skin cells by rubbing it in a slow circular motion on a slightly damp, clean face for a couple minutes.
3. Hot Epsom Salt Bath – If you suffer from acne on other areas of your body like your back, shoulders, neck, or buttocks, try soaking in a luxurious Epsom salt bath  a couple times a week. Epsom salt is proven to get rid of acne due to its antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties that kill acne-causing bacteria.
4. Oatmeal and Rose Water Face Scrub – Combine ¼ organic raw rolled oats with 2 tablespoons of rose water. Apply to your freshly cleansed face and work the scrub gently all over your face in a circular motion with your fingertips for a couple of minutes. Rinse off with warm water, pat dry, and apply an oil-free moisturizer to your face and neck. The oats work gently to exfoliate the dead skin cells of your face and allow new rejuvenated skin to surface. The oats will add needed moisture to your skin as well. Rose water works to calm and soothe inflamed, irritated, and dry skin.
5. Ice Cubes – Rub ice cubes over areas of your skin where you are breaking out. Redness, inflammation, and pain will diminish quickly and effectively. Want added benefits? Try ice cubes infused with tea tree oil! Pour clean water in an ice cube tray and drop a couple drops of tea tree oil in each individual slot. Allow to freeze and then rub an ice cube over your acne every day for amazing skin benefits. Tea tree oil helps kill pimples at the root of the problem.
