1.Cleanse Your Skin Twice A Day
Cleanse your skin twice a day,
morning and night, with a gentle exfoliating cleanser. This will help
remove any dirt and oil build-up that develops throughout the day, as
well as remove any dead skin that naturally collects on our face. Once
that dead skin is gently sloughed off, new and restored skin can surface
allowing your skin to look and feel baby skin smooth!
2.Exfoliate 2-3 times a week
Exfoliate if you don’t
use daily exfoliating cleanser and just use a regular cleanser instead.
Some people’s skin is too sensitive to use an exfoliant every day, and
if you are in this category, exfoliate 2-3 times a week with a gentle
exfoliating scrub
instead. This will remove dead skin cells (cellular
build-up) and any oil and dirt deposits that have been missed by daily
cleansing.3.Pat Skin Dry
When you
step out of the bath or shower, gently pat yourself dry with a fluffy
towel instead of drying quickly and tearing at your skin with a rough
and overly starched towel. Rubbing an abrasive towel across your damp
skin will remove layers of skin in a rough manner, irritating your skin
and causing little bumps and rashes.
4.Moisturize
Before
dressing for the day, make sure you remember to apply body lotion to
your body, including the neck area. The first two minutes from exiting
the shower is the ideal time to lock in that moisture.
5.Wear Sunblock
If
you are going to be spending a reasonable amount of time outdoors, make
sure to use the sun screen with a minimum SPF of 30 every couple of
hours, especially if you are going to be in the water or excessively
sweating. The main reason a baby’s skin is so soft is because they are
always well-covered from the natural elements and they are not outdoors
long enough to have any type of damaging effects on their delicate skin.
